SERVICE CALL POLICY

This Service Call Policy ("Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which Cheap Vending Machines.com ("Company") provides on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services to customers. By booking a service appointment, the customer ("Customer") agrees to be bound by the terms set forth herein.
1. SERVICE CALL FEE STRUCTURE
The Company charges a standard service call fee for all on-site technician visits. This fee covers the technician's travel to the site and the initial diagnostic assessment.
- Base Service Fee: A flat rate of $250.00 shall apply to all service calls located within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of ZIP code 75050.
- Extended Travel Fee: For service locations situated more than twenty-five (25) miles from ZIP code 75050, an additional mileage fee of $2.00 per mile shall be assessed for every mile exceeding the initial 25-mile radius.
2. CALCULATION OF DISTANCE
Mileage shall be determined based on the most direct route from the Company’s service hub in ZIP code 75050 to the Customer’s specified location, as calculated by the Company’s preferred GPS or mapping software.
3. PRE-AUTHORIZATION AND PAYMENT TERMS
- Non-Business Customers: For all customers not currently operating as a verified business entity (e.g., individual residential owners or non-commercial operators), the Service Call Fee(s) must be pre-authorized on a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking.
- Business Customers: Verified business accounts may be subject to different billing terms as established in their specific purchase or service agreements; however, the Company reserves the right to require pre-authorization from any Customer regardless of business status.
- Charges: The pre-authorized amount will be captured upon completion of the service call or in the event of a "no-show" or late cancellation as defined in Section 5.
4. SCOPE OF THE SERVICE CALL FEE
The Service Call Fee is strictly for travel and diagnostics. This fee does not include:
- The cost of replacement parts or components.
- Labor hours exceeding the initial diagnostic period (if applicable).
- Follow-up visits required due to the need for specialized parts not stocked on the service vehicle.
All additional labor and parts costs will be quoted to the Customer and must be approved prior to the commencement of the repair.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Customers must provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service call. Failure to provide such notice, or failure to provide the technician access to the equipment at the scheduled time, may result in the forfeiture of the Service Call Fee or a "Dry Run" charge equivalent to the base rate.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Cheap Vending Machines.com shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the delay of service or the inability to repair a machine during the initial service call if specific parts or additional labor are required.
